Dexilant was my doctor's suggestion along with daily Florastor. Seems to help a lot, but sometimes I need to take a break from it to recover.

Don't take it on an empty stomach.
Suggest probiotics; Flagyl is known to cause yeast issues.
Ginger tea or candy is good, so is peppermint tea.
