Saturday night I spiked a fever out of no where. I was achy and had the chills. The last time this happened I was diagnosed with Lyme. I am still in treatment. I have never really herxed, is that what this could be? Or is a co-infection showing up? I was never tested for co-infections but my previous LLMD was treating me for bart. This kind of has me worried something is going on. I'm thinking I should call my LLMD but he charges for phone calls. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

- Unless
* food poisoning (but then you'd see your GP) . . .
* or the fever was over 102 and still going, I would not call your LLMD. This really is par for the course.
Could have been a herx of a sort, a flare . . .
It could have been some virus, or just the way all this works. Ups, downs, and all a-round. Rinse. Repeat.
A "reasonable" fever really is our friend, usually.
Make a note of any remarkable symptoms around this and if it happens again, you may find a pattern. Tell your LLMD at the next appointment.
Good luck. -

Thank you for responding. I have'nt had anything like this happen since the first time 3 years ago. Just the same pain in my feet and exhaustion. Now I just feel tired and have a sore throat. Guess it was just a bug. I feel better hearing it from others. Thanks again.
