I have been feeling icky and wondering if yeast is becoming a problem, I haven' noticed any specific candida symptoms but I want to stay on top of it.

I want to add something to my anti yeast regimen. Right now all I am doing is avoiding sugar and taking between 50-100 billion of probiotics a day.

I think I read S. boulardii is helpful against yeast but not to take it all the time. Any suggestions? Is S. boulardii good for yeast and can you take it everyday?

I am currently on doxy and will add flagy back soon.

Florastor is s boulardi I think. You can take florastor with ABX so it's much easier to remember.

I take it with my probiotics in the morning first thing and when I remember, in the evening.

I take S. Boulardi every day. I started with 2 pills per day. When I began having signs of yeast my LLMD told me to up it to 2pills twice a day.

That cleared up symptoms.

Hope that helps.

Took for 1 year, can no longer take it.

Caused SEVERE, excess gas, abdominal pain, nausea.

Soon as I stopped it, the above diminished greatly. Minimal gas now, no nausea to speak of unless I eat the wrong foods.

It's best to see all sides of probiotics.

I take S. boulardii for usually a week or two at a time. Then my body seems to take a break from it. I buy the Klaire brand and really like it.
