Has anyone had problems with throat swelling? My throat is now swelling so much that I can't swallow medications and just gag on them. Does anyone know a possible solution? My llmd has mysteriously closed with no warning so I can't ask him for help.

Sounds like you are reacting to something - allergy. I would not continue without checking with my doctor.

You say your LLMDs office has suddenly closed (perhaps for a family emergency?).
Can you see your GP about this? Or Urgent Care?
In addition to any Rx, OTC, supplements, be sure to assess your food intake of the past 3 days - as well as environmental triggers, also of the past 3 days.
If you have a food allergy, re-check any packaged items as ingredients and sources often change. -

I have the throat swelling and other anaphalaxis symptoms due to multiple chemical sensitivity and allergies to high histamine foods, dyes, medications and cleaners. I take dye free benadry every 4 hours as needed when I feel my throat and sinuses swelling and I also keep an epi pen handy. You should go to the emergency room if you can't swallow.

I have food allergies and often when I get a reaction I feel swelling up high in my throat near my tonsils.
A few days ago I had trouble swallowing and the pain was further down in the center of my chest. That turned out to be candida/esophagus.
If there is any question that it is an allergy, stop your meds and check with a doctor. Any doctor would be okay to see for an allergy. You don't have to wait for a LLMD. An urgent care center is a good alternative to the ER if you have one nearby.
What seems to help me sometimes when I am having a mild throat swelling from allergies are the benadryl strips. They are kind of like Listerine strips. I can push them back and let them sit directly on my throat for a few minutes before I swallow them.

I have had throat swelling if I've had an allergic reaction, or if my body is dumping too many toxins from a treatment.
In the second case, I have to drink a lot of water to keep my throat open. It means that something is treating me too quickly.
I suggest you stop every treatment and then reintroduce each thing slowly to find out whether you can take it without getting a throat reaction and if so, how much you can take before you get the reaction and then back off.
If you get a throat reaction to even the smallest amount of a particular treatment, I don't think it's a doable one for you.
I know - it's tedious, it's trial and error, as long as the trial is a very small initial dose.
Another direction is to learn more about how to detox. There are lots of archived threads here, if you click on the search function and type in words or phrases you want to research.
