my PCP actually suggested I try adding this.

how much do you all take? and do you take it daily? for long periods?

would it do any good if you just took it twice a week of so?

I think it's 10 drops twice a day, but i only do 10 drops once a day. It depends on how you feel on it.

The stuff I have (Nutribiotic with Citricidal grapefruit seed extract) I take 15 drops 3 times a day. But you work your way up ( I started at 5 drops). The 15 drops is what is listed on the bottle

I was also told you want to be careful what type you get- some of the pills have lots of additives and very litte of the extract. Also, you can ramp the liquid up slower than the pills.

I don't think the capsules are as potent from my own experience.

However, I have found the drops to be over the top -- which may because of the level of
infection(s) as well as the type of infection(s) with which I've been dealing with when treating.

I get noticable herxes and terrible awful foul breath when I've been dosing with the drops in the past, so my advice to you is to start slowly and go slowly.

Reading more, what are your thoughts on the "citricidal". That is basically in all brands being the the same chemical makeup as a cancer causing preservative?

Has anyone decided not to take it because of this controversy?

And, how is it supposed to work on Lyme? Is just additional antibacterial, anti fungal.... Or is it supposed to do something different?

I was taking grapefruit seed extract tablets 3 times a day. When i first started doxy I had gotten a yeast infection and it cleared it up fast.

GFS extract is an antifungal and anti parasite. I had no problem with the tablets.

I just got the same product as Nicole-Denise and just started it today. I started with 7 drops, we'll see what happens. Is this okay to take in conjunction with azithromycin? If so, how often should it be taken?

I find tht it gives a strong herx. But it acts like an antibiotic to me. So, I get yeast infections from it. Must use probiotics.

Also, GSE is supposed to bust the cyst form of Lyme. But, the drawback with GSE is that it may not reach the places where Lyme likes to hide.

If you take somethings like the herb Japanese Knotweed (which dilates blood vessels) along with the GSE, that may help it to reach the hiding places of Lyme.
