I would love this info too! Thanks for asking this question.

Gigi, what have you tried so far? I'm such a newbie with the detox stuff - so far, I've only done parsley, epsom salt baths and lots of lemon water.

I use epsom baths, and lemon water. I'm kinda scared of chlorella cause I hear it can cause a herx from heavy metal detox.

I have a bottle of activated charcoal butI am usually kind of "backed up" so I haven't really taken it as i hear it can make that worse. I need to try the coffe enemas.

I don't think I could afford glutathione iv plus my doc doesn't do stuff like that. Maybe oral glutathione would work.

I just know I will never get better until I can reduce the severity of herxing.

I have spent 4 months on abx, taking them every other day or for a few days on and few days off. The herxing just gets too bad. The longest I have taken abx consecutively is 7 days!

willo - do a search here on Lymenet. There are lots of threads on coffee enemas that will probably answer all of your questions.

You have to use organic coffee. Let it cool, of course. I order non-latex disposable enema bags on amazon.com. The idea is to try to hold for about 20 minutes (if you can), then expel. Then repeat.

It really helps to get the toxins out.

For me, hands down it has been the infared sauna. A pilates studio here in town lets me use theirs for a very minimal monthly amount and it has helped by leaps and bounds. This combined with healing my gut through diet has made me turn the corner I believe. I pray so... Best to you...

Here are some things my kids have used:

Lipisomal Glutathione
Portable Sauna with steam pot feed
Pecana drops
Burbur and Parsley drops
Alka-Seltzer Gold

One son loves the glutathione IV's and one is having pretty good success with the sauna. I just ordered a near infared sauna which may and I repeat may be better than far infared. Here are a couple websites

http://www.nearinfraredsauna.com/Mini_Sauna_Lite.html

http://drlwilson.com/SAUNAS/BUY%20FR%20SAUNA.htm

If you know anybody handy, you could probably build a near infared sauna with heat lamps for about $100 and put in small room

I am not a doctor though and you should always read about sauna's and any other health conditions.

AnnieR just posted this link at another thread. It has fabulous links to all of Dr. K's writings, several of which are all about detox:

Don't forget the infra red saunas! I've been very ill and I did three saunas this week and was able to go out with my friends last night for dinner.

It's a miracle worker for me.

I use the cheap tent version that I bought on ebay.

If you have detox issues

You need to go slow and though add in more and more things one at at time including diet and all the things that work for you and you like. But go slow and track it and give yourself time to work up.
But work up. Work up big time.
I had at one point at my highest point doing things like baths in the am and pm and three enemas a day or four that I had worked up to and the diet and lymph draining and rebounding and dry scrubs added before each bath and adding time and potency to each and supplements and tracking water intake and it got to where all I did was detox every day all day and it was so much work but I had really had it with my body and not being able to treat this disease.

I did add in a full integrative protocol after just a couple months but i wish I had waiting more like six months. After treatment of six months too I still did six more months of intensive detox to recover from treatment and get my body heallng and recovering and able to make gains from it all.. It was along process and at times i did not know if I was going to get anything from it.

But I changed my body and now I can take a med to treat a specific thing I feel I missed and I can take it with no a lot less fear and without huge herxes and problems I had for years.

I tested out my body and took some abx that I would herx so severely from so consistently and i did a test on a few different ones i had still and I could take them now like it was nothing. I could tolerate them and I do beliieve its al due to the detox work I did that pushed things out and got things flowing out of me instead of being stuck and adding more and more toxins to my body as I treat.

To this day this has been what has turned the corner for me.
Detox and more detox and patience and persistence.. Work up slowly but then push and push and you will feel the damn break in your body and things will move. For me was so liberating and such a big change in my body overall that I am able to do and treat and take and have and be a different person treating this disease.

I think I have written this many times on here now and I hate to beat the same drum over and over. But I was there for years taking advise to keep pushing through the herx or keep going or I will never have benefit and I did nothing but damage myself and make myself suffer and suffer and suffer and feel worse and worse and never ever better..

So now I can feel better.... Its magic and I had about given up on life all together at the point i did my big push as I did and I went with that my body was telling me for once and not what others told me.. So I am not telling you what to do but if you resinate with this experience it could be worth a try.
