I have had all my amagalams out & while treating bart / babesia my teeth hurt so bad, I had to take pain meds for it. worse than when I had the dental work. Is doing better now! hang in there

DO you think you may be clenching your teeth? It seems common with lyme.
Last year I was seeing dentist & oral surgeon for jaw pain. I was told I had TMJ & trigeminal neuralgia.
Cold weather makes it worse.
I've found wearing a nightguard (DenTek Comfort-fit which I 'doctored up' to have contact on good side only) helps.
The correct (& more expensive) way would be have one custom made by your dentist.
Sometimes rubbing some Aspercream on my jaw helps with pain. Pain pills are worthless.
Doing a search here may bring some answers for you. Some say the pain lessens with lyme/bart treatment.
Hope you find relief & healing quickly. Will say a prayer for you.

Lyme and company caused a lot of jaw/tooth pain for me. It was a burning pain on one side of my jaw. I always said it felt like liquid fire was traveling down my jaw. (That is nerve pain, I now know.)
Dentist did 2 root canals to try to get rid of the pain. Then, he sent me to an oral surgeon whose diagnosis (after x-rays, etc.) was "inflammation." There was nothing wrong with any of my teeth or my jawbone.
At the time, I had not yet been diagnosed with lyme disease.
My pain was so bad that I lived every day on narcotic pain killers just to be able to bear it. The pain lasted for many months.
The oral surgeon predicted that it might not go away until the warm weather arrived, and that is exactly how it happened.
Surgeon had me take the max number of Advil per day (I forget how many, but it was a huge number). I did this until it gave me reflux. That took about 5 weeks.
So, basically I had to wait it out. Rainy and cold days were the worst days, but every day was a killer.
Since your diseases are being treated, hopefully you will not have to suffer as long with this as I did.

Oil pulling has been very helpful for me. Go to oilpulling.com. It has many other health benefits as well.
I've also had ozone injections/treatments from good biological dentists.
Also try massage techniques to help relieve tension in the neck area to help things flow better.
All together the above things have helped me.

Focus on relaxing yourself from head to toe. I lay in bed & close my eyes & think to myself: my eyes are relaxed, my jaw is now relaxed, my neck is relaxed, my breathing relaxed, my arms are relaxed, etc. Surprisingly, it helps!

Ugh, I hate jaw pain.
I had a few root canals myself prior to diagnosis with lyme.
My retainer has been modified to keep me from clinching.
A woman I met yesterday who has had ozone treatment on her cavitations (wisdom teeth removal spots) puts cayenne pepper on q-tips and sticks it on the spot. Says it burns but it shakes up whatever is trying to live there. That's a way to find out if it's parasites, I guess. I'm not ready to try it.
Supposedly and this is a big supposedly, proper lyme treatment will make this go away.
