fo those of you who have either purposely gone off abx or missed a few days for whatever reason, how long was it before you started to feel the effect of being off them. my doctor hasnt called my abx into my pharmacy a few times and after being off them a few times i swear i can feel it after just 3 or 4 days.

i can also feel the difference in just 3 or 4 days. My LLMD took me off antibiotics and prescribed an antiviral. Within 3 days, symptoms which had been in check started coming back. Back on the antibiotics and felt better almost immediately.

I don't think you're imagining it!

After taking my first round of doxy for six weeks, I swear my knees felt different the next day....after 8-10 days I was sure the tingling in my hands and feet was back. Immediately started azith with metronidazole and have been sick with major herxing symptoms. Praying that this will be over when I go off in 6 days. How long before you were diagnosed?

i have probably been sick about 8 years. does this mean i will likely be on abx for the rest of my life or at least many years if my symptoms come back this quickly?

There are many options besides abx. Have you tried herbs, rife, or other things? My family did much better when we switched to something similar to the Cowden protocol.

I went off antibiotics about 5 months ago. I had a lot of herbal extract from a formula I copied from kwbotanicals. Those herbs worked to a degree earlier but never did the job.

Initially I felt better off the antibiotics but the headaches and lyme were still there. Shortly, my immune system seemed to kick in. I'm not well yet but not feeling the need to take drugs and seem to be improving gradually.

I feel very fortunate to have the herbs. I am still taking them. Maybe there is something that worked a little for you and you could use it when going off.
