Today iam suffering with either a herx or just the infection. I started bactrim about 3 weeks ago.

The last couple of days i have been dealing with a foggy head, anxiety, a full buzzing sensation in half my head and ear, slightly dizzy, light sensitivity, i have a headache in the front right behind my eye and just blah feeling.

What infection do these symptoms sound like to you?

Iam currently on Zithro, malarone, plaquenil, bactrim. I went off of mepron about 3 weeks ago and im just wondering if what iam experiencing is bart symptoms or babs. If its babs then Im afraid ill have to go back on mepron.

If you think its bart then I guess its a herx

Hi Jackie81, [hi]
I know for me when I am herxing I have light & noise sensitivity. I can not be in a large crowd; even crowded restaurants.

It is like everything is amplified and it feels like I could jump out of my skin at any sudden noise. Another symptom... I can get a bit "touchy". Though my husband uses another term, lol.

I think for me the buzzing in the head/ears is again when I'm herxing badly.

I know when my Babs is acting up I hurt behind my eyes and will get quick on again/off again pains in the crown (back) section of my head.

I'm on Doxy and Plaquenil,,,but that's through my MD. I haven't gotten up to my LLMD yet as he is Several states away.

Hope that helps.

Could be babs and/or bart. Just hang in there.. you're at the 3-5 wk herxy thingy. [Wink]

(but Bactrim is used for bart.. so more likely to be a bart herx)
