Ok. I've been gone a long time from here so bare with me if I don't get all the pertinent info in the first time.
I've been bit by ticks 2 times now but just tested a few years ago when the last suspected bite became infected.
Got the rash and started showing signs of lyme though tests were mixed according to what dr. you asked. (by cdc standards I don't have ti but I was positive on certain markers that are positive for lyme regardless) Was treated for 2 weeks on doxy and was told I was fine.
Didn't feel fine so sought out llmd and tried several abxs. Had to stop going due to many factors.
That was about a year ago that I last saw the llmd.
Over the last 6 months or so I've developed a few new "symptoms" that my GP is trying to excuse as side effects of my meds (I take a great many because of several health issues).
2 that I wonder now if they are associated with the lyme are tremors in my legs and the most concerning are these dizzy spells or shifts in perception/senses.
They can last from just a few seconds to all day long.
They can come on very suddenly and they are not always a spinning type.
Te worst ones are like my brain contracts and shifts all the sudden then snaps back. It's so bad that I litterally hit the floor and almost (have a couple of times ) black out.
I do have a constant ringing in my ears too though no one has thought to send me to an ENT to be checked.
My neuro says it's my meds but they've played with my meds and the spells don't seem affected by them.
I'm trying to seek a second opinion with another neuro but apparently because of someo f my meds no one will touch me.
Then last night I thought I would ask here if anyone else experiences these weird things.
I'm afraid to drive because I never know when they are going to hit and I'm alone with my nearly 4 year old a lot and fear for his saftey as well. I just want answers.
Thanks.

I would say babesia ( and the FRY BUG I was loaded) .My llmd thought I do not have babesia as I was skinny ( never tested for it ) but I have DUNCANI all the symtoms and more an european strain. IF you react to artemisin and malarone or mepron YOU HAVE BABESIA.Do a trial and start with very very low dosage and INCREASE it .You need an LLMD than stop and than test for it.By the way Test do not catch every one . I was bit in the neck so my symtoms were in my head prior to everything .So do not rely in the test, but in the trial than the treatment should be until you reach the dosage and you feel nothing on taking Mepron or Malarone and artemisin. I relapsed FULLY when I had a car accident and untreated babesia that sent me to blood transfusion.
YOU SOUND like me and I DO HAVE Babesia.I reacted to all antimalaria DRUGS.You could as well have FRY BUG .My daughters blood picture at FRY lub shows only FRY bug and cleared cells from babesia .She exsplains she has head presure build up but no dizzenes .My son and I had the diziness and MY SON was lucky to get a high pozitive right away.
I did the trial before the test. That way you will have a better chance to get a pozitive test.I do beilive that even FRY bug react on antimalarial drugs .So if you react on it it is posible for you to have either one. I felt babesia in my spine ( duncani ) .By the way my cd57 was high and I was nearly dead and fighting for my life.I had the chocking feeling and could not hold my head straight build up preassure in the head and spine.DO not rely on cd57 .BABESIA IF ACTIVATED ( in case was the infection that you have had prior to lyme ) could make you have BABESIA load HIGH while lyme is low as you just got bit and it takes time for lyme to increased in your body and brain but BABESIA comes within 6 months relapse as it was in my case .6 months without medication and I was almost done with my life. I blacked out 3 times and went to ER with high preasure in the head did 4 car accidents and now I can not drive thanks to MY 1st llmd that did not beilive I have babesia. I have had another strain from 10 years .SO babesia made me siker faster than lyme itself.I am afraid to drive since the car accident that sent me with full blown babesia from head to toe and in IV and blood transfusion. It took me 1 year and 1/2 tto reach the full dosages to reduce babesia.I still have it .I am herxing crazy .But was able to reduce the FRY bug.My new combo is artemisin , biaxin , plaquinil , mepron ( alternating with malarone ) and will soon will include cryptolepsis. This will cover Fry bug , lyme and Babesia.I am herxing again BIG time. But from the wheelchair mars 2010 I am able to write you .I do not want you to go to my spot as some LLMD think you might not have it but with the best LLMD consultation if you react to antimalaria drugs you have it .I REACTED to all of them .Finally my head preasure that was build up all these years is gone and lifted .The treatment for lyme and bart will not get rid of it only babesia treatment will lift and get rid of dizenes. If you open your arms and you can go in circle motion around like a dancer than it is not babesia if you can not hold your equiliber than YOU DO NEED treatment for babesiosis.
