Hi folks:
Just thought I would give an update (I've been away for a bit.)
I'm now 5 weeks into my drug Holiday and honestly I feel pretty good. I actually feel better now that I did 3-4 weeks ago. I hope this is a good sign. Were it not for the mild tinnitus and muscle twitching and very very mild night sweats I would think I'm done!
My foot / toe pain has gotten BETTER as the weeks have gone on. As has my vision and headaches.
Maybe my body needed a break and now my immune system is kicking in?? Who knows.
I restart my therapy in about a week (after being off for 7 weeks) and will hit the bugs hard with Bicillin 3x / week, Biaxin ER, Mepron, Plaquenil and Crypolepis. All drugs will be new to me, so I'm excited for a brand new procotol. (I've done Biaxin before but never Biaxin ER.)
I hope the bugs are out and about so I can hit them with a sneak attack (I'm starting with the bicillin first.)
Hang in there folks, and if you are in the 80-90% try an extended holiday. It may do you good!!

That is wonderful news, especially in the middle of winter when these bugs like to take over. I hope you continue to improve.

That is just awesome. I remember you saying you might be treating until spring time....looks like you might be right.
I am going pretty well for the most part. I see my LLMD in 2 weeks and I also thinking about taking an abx holiday.
I am almost sx free just some very small pain a few days a month....I am also dealing with some heart skipps or small anx...might for a herx or just my body needing more nutrians...
Anyway keep it up man and best of luck

That's so good to hear! If you relapse, be sure to get on meds right away. My doc said when I get to that point, he would pulse meds a week or so a month.
In anycase, fealing great is its own reward.

If you are around 90% better, and off meds for five weeks, why would go back on them? (Bicillin 3x / week, Biaxin ER, Mepron, Plaquenil and Crypolepis)
You said your remaining symptoms are> (mild tinnitus and muscle twitching and very very mild night sweats). And you feel better now than 3-4 weeks ago.
It sounds like you are continuing to improve (with no meds).
