For 8 days now, I've been running a fever. Started with that major Candida die off that had me in the ER with Stabbing stomach pain and a 102.0 fever.

Every day since, I have been running temp 99.3-100.0

The strange thing is that I can feel it and take my temp and it's up, but then I feel like I'm breaking it 10 min. later and be back to 98.6.

10 min. later, it can be back to 99.3, so alot of back and forth all day which would not be c/w circardian rhythm.

I would swear by the fact that I still feel like I am Herxing on this Paleo diet. I know it sound far fetched, but it is what I feel.

When I've had fevers it was not a good sign. It was a very bad sign that my infections were raging out of control. I continued to get sicker until my doctor started me back on a much more powerful IV antibiotic.

To be honest, I'm not convinced that you are experiencing a herx. I'm afraid that you are flaring. Sorry, just my humble opinion.

You might be right, but I'm doing this along side with someone else w Lyme and she too is experiencing alot of what I am. Time will tell.

I found a few other threads after I posted above where folks were saying it's a pos. immune response.

Can't expect anything to be gone in just 3 weeks when I've been accumulating this illness for 5 years.

For our daughter, low grade temps plus a feeling of feverishness was a herx. One of the few signs we had when something was actually working.

Before my european strain gave me a fever for very long and was low grade fever.I used to run to the doctors and thank god one of the antibiotics was bactrim and worked on me.Now I know that it was a flare of babesia for that time being. My eusinophils were high and I had the flares of headaches .The same happened when every time that I used dosages of artemisia Immidiatly I would fell sick.
No way the change of the diet can make you feel that way but a flare of an ACTIVE infection that is reproducing at the time of the fever where your immune is trying to stop it.

Dr. Wahls cured her MS by diet. Why do some of you feel this is far fetched ?

Not saying we don't have infections, but look at all the Healthy people walking around with Lyme unaffected.

I got sick when I suddenly, unexpectedly lost my brother. The stress brought down my immune system and let this crap out. I think it is very feasible to rebuild the body and let the immune system take care of things.

If it doesn't work, then I add in Rife, etc.

Just today, I had 5 low grade fevers up to 100.1 . I kept breaking them into sweats followed by some relief. I have never had this before. My body is aching just as if I were treating. The malaise is also something I only felt while Herxing on treatment.

Be sure I will keep everyone updated. The diet is suppose to help detox the body, starve Candida and other infections. This is much more than Babesia symptoms flaring. I'm so in touch with my body and I can feel more going on here. Even having periods of Brain fog reduction, which is very new for me.

I must have missed something. Seems like your comment regarding Dr. Wahls came out of nowhere, maybe it was another thread? I did see the video.

lymetwister--if you think it is related to your diet, you are probably right. But, if it is an infection, we have to be careful that we don't dismiss because of other factors, like a change in diet.

When I went off of sugar, I felt horrible. It takes a week to clear that out. If you have changed your diet drastically, then you would of course feel miserable.

That is something that the Mercola's of the world don't tell everyone. That we will herx with proper nutrition if nutritionally starved.

I'm a big believer in the Paleo diet. Much more so than an all vegan diet.

Hope you are feeling better by now.

I've had low grade fevers (100.2) every day since March. I know they are miserable.
