Hi all, I was wondering if any of you experienced or are experiencing eye sensitivity? I started feeling some intermittent pain around my eyes, mostly one eye, when I started having headaches, before I was diagnosed. Then when I was on Doxy, the pain was less, and mostly a tingly feeling or sensitivity. Can lyme do this, or is it the antibiotics? I stopped taking them recently but I think they still stay active in your body for a while? Anyone knows what the eye tingling/sensitivity is from? I am worried that I have permanent damage to the eyes now.

Yes Lyme can do this. Go see your eye doctor to find out if you need some medication for your eyes.
I just went through inflammation of my cornea in one of my eyes but both of my eyes hurt. I still have great sensitivity to light. Lyme can affect any part of your body.

Some of us are helped in this regard by drinking mangosteen juice. I encourage you to do a search for past threads on the topic.

I have intense light sensitivity and other eye issues from Lyme, Allergies, and who knows what else (eye doctor can't seem to find anything wrong with my eyes...). The light sensitivity decreases while I'm on anti-Lyme treatment, and comes back when I stop. So I know Lyme is involved with at least some of my eye problems.
