Im just in the beginning stages of understanding about binders...Im assuming I will def need them with all the herbs I plan on taking.

So, are they safe?

What type of binder do you prefer?

How will I know if I need them?

What Binder and detox method compliment each other?

Thanks for all your help!

Im really concerned (scared to death) to take anything I have without knowing a couple of methods of getting all the toxins and junk out properly. Someone mentioned binders to me in another post and I had no clue!

I hope my questions above makes sense cause Im not even sure what Im talking about! [Smile]

Binders are things that bind to the toxins and move them out of your body.
Here are some
activated charcoal (my favorite)
Bentonite clay
Apple pectin
Chlorella
You need to take these 3 hours away from abx because they will bind to them.
I have found that I need to take large doses of these to be effective like 5-10 capsules at a time.
I do a dose when I wake up in the night to use the bathroom, because it's hard to find time between supplements and abx.

Im not taking any abx at all. Just doing homeopathy and herbs. I was just wondering if there was something natural that would compliment them... Jeez, sounds like Im trying to match up wine with food... I do miss my wine.

So activated charcoal comes in capsules? What is the average dose?

chlorella..you might feel it's more natural....there's a post real close to this about timing..different than what's said here...

I do chlorella at times, 2-3, walking to bathroom ,if haven't taken any meds within an hour

I've read there's Cholesteramine sp? script is needed, away from all meds, not sure about food.

also pure water, with milk thistle tea, cayenne, dab of honey or stevia and fresh lemons....Good for detox, liver and pulls a bit out,,,,,

Binders and Detox Remedies:

Biosil (Connective tissue and intercellular detox)

Charcoal (Binds toxins, Diarrhea) 2 capsules very 2-3 hours up to 8 total in 24 hours. Capsulres are preferred to tablets. Use only as needed - it will compete for absorption with food and other nutrients. I used to take them at bedtime, with nothing else.

Chlorella (pyrenoidosa or vulgaris)

Apple Pectin

DMG (dimethylglycine) Assists chemical detox

Green Clay/ Calcium Bentonite Living Clay (suffocates larval forms of parasites and toxins in the gut. 1 tsp 2x/d in small amount of juice (berry juice works best). May need to be given with 1 tablespoon of ground flax to prevent constipation.

Microsilica (detox/put in Klinghardt Lyme Cocktail)

Cholestyramine (primarily for mycotoxins). Rx. always without aspartame.

Cholestepure

Maybe tomorrow I will think of a few more. Alternating is always a good thing. Don't take charcoal too often - but it works when you really feel miserable from die-off. Take it when you know meds are causing die-off ---- not days later...

Take care.
