For a few months I've had upper back pain, to my left side. I went to my orthopedic, who did a simple x-ray which came back clear for my back, chest and lungs. He feels its some sort of "hot spot" and will go away on its own.
Yet, when I take a deep breath, or turn certain ways, I can feel a pull.
I've been feeling pretty good and have not treated babs in a while. I was reading that others associate their back pain with babs.
I would love any feedback.

Yes babs can make you frozen solid and you can not breath deeply as normal people do. I knew that babs was back due to the upper side of my shoulders would hurt.BEfore treatment I used to pull muscles.Yes and it does hurt deeply in the shoulders. I would not waste money on X rays or MRI or scanner as I have done all that and showes nothing or even do The breathing test or therapies for months. That is waste of life and time.TREAT BABS.My best combo so far is biaxin , plaquinil Mepron and Cryptolepsis. This is DR H suggestions. Artemisin was keeping at the bay but I felt releif only when I took it in HIGHER dosages but hurt and damaged my hearing.TRy all of those to kick it out for good.

I, too, have Babesiosis and accompanying right lower back pain as well as right shoulder blade pain. The pain in each has been present since 2007, however, since beginning treatment for Babs, the pain is tolerable.
It is so strange that the tear/strain feeling deep within each area (back and shoulder) has stuck around. What a raw deal.
I also had an x-ray years ago to try and get to the bottom of the pain. My sacroiliac joint/region was viewed, but aside from some normal wear and tear, no direct signs accounting for the pain could be found.
By the way, I also have generalized lower back pain. Like the back (side) pain and shoulder pain, it never really goes away.
Warm baths are great, but of course, offer only temporary relief.

The pain in me used to be excruciating .
I could not even lift my arms and rotate them.
My entire right hand got paralized and spread to the entire right side.
That is when lyme became activated as babs and bart have already made their way .
I have already treated all coinfections and lyme.
It takes time.I used to pull mucsles and no therapy could work.
Now the deep pain in my right shoulder in very deep level has left .
Both shoulders are fine.
I just have to be careful not too carry wight not to hurt my neck that has had arthritis since 20 years ago.
hips pain and shoulder pain is releifed by babs treatment .
Keep treating and the muscles will regain the strength.
