I am trying to find a clinic to help with heavy metal detox through chelation.

Can I still use abx while doing this?

I was on ABX when I did the IV Chelation several years ago. So was my sister.

The same Dr. prescribed both.

Dear RZR,

We are also going to be going through chelation. We are seeing Dr. In Seattle. I would definitely recommened Andy Cutlers book if you haven't already read it. We will be doing oral. This is something you need definitely need to research well but I'd guess from your posts you already have.

Best of luck

Misdiagnosed for many years. Treated for many things besides the real issue. Lyme diagnosed April 2008. Parasites diagnosed recently. Past to both my sons. Trying to remain hopeful and thankful.

I did both abx and chelation. You can do it. I did IV chelation and also heparin-- this kicked my butt!! Like in bed, wanna die for about a month straight.

I think since a lot of the chelators are also biofilm busters you can really go down hill. So I'd be careful of that.

Also-- make sure you do parasite stuff first. I wasted about $5k on IV chelation (about 3 months worth)-- with 0 changes in my levels. And now I'm thinking i didn't get results cause i didnt do it in the proper order.

I'm doing the Abx protocol for parasites now and am seeing changes :-)

Hmmmmm....Maybe I should wait on IV chelation.

I have been battling parasites for over 1-1/2 years and still see them. I tried Dr. K's protocol, but still not rid of the suckers! I just keep rotating anti-parasitic drugs and herbs.

Everyone is different, you could always try other forms of chelation in conjunction with parasite meds.
