Husband been experiencing mostly neuro symptoms of numb fingers and bottoms of feet, tremors/whole torso twitches, blurred vision, plus anxiety/agitation - little or no pain anywhere - for 8-9 months. Has had many tick bites as works outdoors - last ones we remember were spring, 2011.
Does following minimal results from Igenex test just received indicate any liklihood of lyme and/or the two coinfections - numbers are very low.
Everything negative except following:
Lyme IgG WB:
Band 39 IND
Band 41 +

Babesia microti IgM 20
IgG was negative

Bartonella IgG 80
IgM was negative

Seems very little to go on. Wondering if anyone has had similar low results but still turned out to have lyme and/or Bart?

All tests aside a wise LLMD told me - if you take a good dose/ therapeutic level of Abx say doxy for a few weeks and feel worse then Lyme.

+ Babesia + Bartonolla and NOW RMSF 3/5/09 all at Quest

And still positive ELISA and WB two years after IV treatment

I would not suspect Lyme. You may want to consider testing at other labs for Bartonella and Babesia to see how the results come up. Another tick lab: http://www.stonybrookmedicalcenter.org/pathology/tick
