Can someone explain or provide me with a link that explains why Bartonella causes the immune system to stop producing IgM/IgG antibodies.
I initially tested a weak IgG titer of 1:64 for both henselae and quintana and after subsequent anti body tests I tested negative.
I also tested negative on the Bart FISH.

"Bartonella biotoxins seem to turn off the immune system and the inflammation system in some parts, which allows it to hide even with large numbers in the bloodstream."
Bartonella also appears to occasionally be able to make biofilms to protect itself from antibiotics."
