wondering if anyone can help me. had lyme for 9 months now, starting iv's any day now, just got out of the hospital for severe benign pvc's. Does anyone else have this, this is the scariest thing in the world, along with all the other severe symptoms, I just don't know what to do, will this go away, the cp is terrible and the fluttering in my chest. They gave me lopressor, seems to help a little.

Low magnesium can cause cardiac irregularities.

The Importance of Magnesium to Human Nutrition

.
The Lyme bacteria uses up our magnesium for itself, and symptoms of low magnesium are common in people who have Lyme.

Regarding the chest pain...are you taking statins?

hi carol, magnesium is one thing I'm not taking, I'm currently waiting for my doctor to get in touch with the home health agency to set up iv's , this all just seems so funny to me in the hospital, I was told I was a mystery by three different doctors, I told them what is the mystery I have lyme they should have set me up with the iv's there but they didn't, if I can get the lyme treatment which is the source of the problem, wouldn't all the lyme symptoms go away?

Shannon, if you're not taking magnesium, here are some suggestions:

Source Naturals, Ultra-Mag,
with magnesium citrate, taurinate, malate, glycinate and succinate.

Mag Calm, the sweet lemon flavor is my favorite.

.
Eat foods high in magnesium:
Almonds, almond butter
Dark chocolate
Beans, kidney beans, baked beans, bean soup, bean burritoes.

Shannon, I've had severe heart pain. I ended up in hospital for 9 days. My heart beat goes very low and gets very tight. I found out mine was from coxsackie B virus that hit my heart due to my weak immune system. The only thing that helps me is living on L Lysine to keep virus down. Maybe it will help you.

Wishing you the best
