Your regular symptoms get WORSE, or you get more symptoms on top of your regular symptoms, or both!
So, generally you feel sicker, more exhausted, more pain, or more of what you normally have. Then, on top of that, you can get new pains, new tortures of other kinds, really, really think you are dying, etc.
A mild herx can be just not having any stamina so as soon as you go to do anything, you are played out and need to lie down.
So, if your symptoms aren't bad right now, look for milder herx symptoms like the example above.
Everyone is different. That is the answer to almost every lyme question.

I evidentally herx but it is mild most of the time.
I didn't realize that was a herx. I almost always feel yukky and weaker, more pain but it's not anything harsh.

During herx-periods, my flu-feelings occur more often, are more intense and have a longer duration. On top of that, psychatric symptoms are intensified.

Could herx symptoms simply be more body aching with a cold, sinus infection or flu-like symptoms?
