I have been posting about having knee pain even though I am off of treatment. I think that part of the pain may be that I worked to hard with a swollen knee because I was trying to get insurance and the only job that offered insurance in my area was one working for an oil and gas company lifting heavy stuff.
I was thinking about trying platelate rich plasma therapy. Has anyone tried it?

My husband gets it injected in his torn Achilles tendon in 2 days. He has Lyme and both tendons have tiny tears that haven't healed in 4 months.

I did one or two twenty minute sessions per day, and after a couple weeks I slacked off. My knee was feeling better, and I'd forget to treat it, haha.
There is a yahoo group you can join to find out more about this therapy.
I wish I had known about hyaluronic acid, as it would have been much less expensive.
If you want to buy a Magnetic Pulser, you can google for a discount code. Also, there are vendors on eBay.com and at Amazon.com.

I had PRP with some pretty intense oral surgery and it was amazing. I had very little pain and a quick recovery.
I am planning to have prolotherapy with PRP in the next month on a knee that has very little cartilage left. It needs replacing, but I am trying to buy some time.
It isn't supposed to help the bone, but reportedly will help with soft tissue.
