what is a good way to use antifungals so that i dont develop resistant strains of yeast? pulsing? rotating? how often...

Seems to me that pulsing would cause resistance.

I've heard that taking oral amphotericin B can target strains of yeast that have become resistant to diflucan or other treatments.

This drug comes from a compounding pharmacy.

Perhaps rotating between something like that along with some of the herbals would help?? Yeast is so miserable.. hope you feel better soon.

My LLMD suggested that Oil of Oregano is good for drug resistant yeast. We'll see [Smile]

Berberine is good for resistant yeast. I believe it has a synergistic effect with diflucan. They work best to use them together from what I have read.

There's controvercy about rotating the supplements/treatments. Some say it's good & others say it doesn't matter. It probably depends on whether you are taking things that cause yeast.

Cutting out sugar & carbs is good but it's not a cure from what I have read. It only weakens the yeast so you can kill it with supplements or drugs.
