Over the last year I've been expierencing pretty bad neck stiffness including other muscle stiffness but my neck has been the worse. I was of course diagnosed with FMS and just started treatment for lyme.
The problem I have is my neck will become so tight and stiff and naturally I will grab the area and I notice this very small nodule or lump under my scull along my vetebrae and when I press the area it sort of "pops" into place and relieves pressue on my neck. Its very strange and scary and I was wondering if anybody experienced this physcial symptom?

I have the same type of thing, however, I had a ruptured disk from 2 years before that had gotten pretty much better. The borrelia attacked that first because it was a weak area with scar tissue most likely. Since I've had tick borne illness, my knees crunch and my vertebrae pop out and in a few times a day. If it were me personally, I would go to the chiropractor if you are concerned and have them look at it and feel it and see if there's anything that concerns them.
