I'm 64 and have had Lyme for 18 years. My pulse have always been lower then most but now it's real low. Checked it last night at bed time and it was 47 and this morning it was 46. Most of the time it's 55 or less. Just wondering if others have this low of a heart rate and if it's connected to Lyme?

Yes, it's called bradycardia. I would contact your doctor.

Just had a loop monitor for 2 weeks and it showed a few episodes of Bradycardia (49 BPM) and episodes of tachacardia (I am 35yrs). My doc said it happens to everyone, but I am not sure that is so.

He is quite upset with me about suggesting Lyme and told me that all of my tests are normal and I should get over it.

I was concerned that his medical judgment was being clouded by his anger so I checked it out online.

Bradycardia is diagnosed when your heartrate is less than 60 BPM and usually people do not get any symptoms until it is under 50 BPM.

Not sure if it is a Lyme "thing" but I know that Lyme
can affect your heart.

I agree with pp, best to get checked out by a doc.

I have a cardiologist and he has me on meds but it still stays low. I wore a monitor and at one point it was down to 40 PBM. He asked if I was sleeping but I was up and watching TV.

how is your thyroid? Before my thyroid was treated my resting heart rate would be around 48-52. Now its up to a more normal range.
