Overall my treatment has been going well and my pain and energy have been getting better, but in the last 3 days, my knees have been really sore.

My right knee makes loud popping noises when I go up stairs, and is very sore on the inside of the knee.

Nothing else is flaring, so I am getting worried that maybe something else is wrong with my knees.

But my LLND appointment isn't for another 2.5 weeks.

Until then, I don't know what I should be doing - resting, trying to strengthen the muscles around the knee, stretching...

The biggest thing that has been keeping me going for the last 4.5 years is the idea that eventually I will get better and all of this will go away.

Now I am scared my knees are permanently damaged...or at least have something else going on that isn't going to get better.

Anyone had popping noises in their knees? Do you know what it might be from? Did it eventually get better?

For what it's worth, I take teasel root tincture and curcumin capsules, both of which completely stop my knee symptoms.

If your knees have just started flaring up, try rest, ice (20min), and elevate your legs.

I know it sounds simple but it should help some to at least temporarily relieve pain and will reduce inflammation.

Also an OTC anti-infammatory med like ibuprofen or aleve would help for pain if you are not already taking one. Make sure that it doesn't interact with any of your RX meds (ask your pharmacist or doctor first).

My joints (many of them including the knees) make popping or cracking noises. For me, the noises do not mean anything.

Since the joint noises and pain are new for you, it would be good to make an appt for a doctor to take a look and make sure that you haven't injured your knees.

I only got joint pain when I was herxing or was yeasty. How's your diet been? Is your tongue white? Could be yeast?

I had the popping in my knees and neck. It went away with treatment.

The knee popping is new, but just before I restarted treatment I had a lot of knee pain and rested and iced and anti-inflamatoried the heck out of it.

I am doing all that again, but since I don't think I did anything to aggravate it, I'm not sure it will help. It hasn't yet.

My diet has been really good. I guess it is possible I am herxing...I just finished my second week of Flagyl

( I am doing 2 weeks on two weeks off and had done one set already)
