When I close my eyes in bright light I can sometimes, see zillions of neon green short rod like things swimming in my eyes.
Am I nuts??

If you have a lot of floaters or flashing lights, it is best to see an opthomologist to make sure that you don't have a detached retina.
Detached retinas can cause these symptoms.

I did have my ey es checked several years ago. Dr. Said they were floaters. I said thousands of them? He never answered the question. So I think it is the Lyme disease.

I have floaters & flashes & wiggles & squiggles & shimmers & all sorts of things going on in my eyes; have had plenty of thorough eye check ups as well; the eye stuff comes & goes with my symptoms & treatment.
Yes, do get your eyes checked. But Lyme wreaks havoc on the eyes as well.

i had many for yrs esp white, see thru, rods and squiggles
i had regular eye exams for many yrs for other stuff
eye spec ignored or didnt see them until they turned black
when they turned black they were easily dx as vitreous breakoff...with a possible risk of detached retina
if they are black it is very impt to get checked and read about detached retina

I see those neon green squiggly, little swimming "organisms" at night, too. Also, in the daytime, I have one big, sac-like thing that encompasses lots of black spots and floats around my left eye when I move it. So far the opthamologist doesn't seem very concerned about it. According to the doctor, It was supposed to have "settled out" years ago.

I have a squiggly clear floater that hangs out in my right eye. My eye also itches (the other one doesn't).
When I close my eyes, sometimes I see a tiny black dot (the size of a period) that moves (drops like a ball). My doc said that these eventually go away with treatment.

You can buy it from a health food store or on line through places like vitacost...
However...we have found that it is more effective when we take the spice itself plus its cheaper...
We get a jug of empty gel caps...and a few things of Turmeric from the spice aisle at the grocery store and make our own pills...
For me they have helped diminish my floaters, helps with tooth infections...lessens pain in my back too...
My hubby has a skin disorder - which is like the most severe form of acne...and it helps to keep those infections dormant...and when they do start up...they are easy to manage...without Turmeric...his infections can immobilize him...
Hope this helps
Christine

Cool! I started Turmeric few weeks ago and have to say I haven't seen them as much. Maybe it's working.
Thanks for the info.

The only issues you may have from Turmeric...is it could cause some indigestion...but if you take in caps...it should be ok...
I also use it as a paste when my teeth bother me...and it really helps...I have even been daring enough to mix it with ground mustard for a nasty gum infection...
Killed the infection...but the two together...in a paste...I think it just burned the infection right out of my mouth...talk about HOT...
But you can take Turmeric orally...you put 1/4 tsp in a cup of water...the equivalent of a shot glass...and chug it and follow with something soothing...3x's a day or as needed...
It has MANY medicinal qualities...and I have heard that someone (I forget who) is actually studying it...as it is believed to possibly kill spirochete bacteria...
Just remember...if you have skin infections...it can push those out...so don't be surprised by it...we also found that cooking with coconut oil and taking turmeric increased the success of holding off my hubby's skin disorder...
You are all most welcome
Christine

I drink mangosteen juice to stop all Lyme eye symptoms. It's an anti-inflammatory antioxidant juice, found in healthfood stores and online. If you try some, go slow and drink water also.
