Hey everyone. Haven't posted since 2009 (i think)

In 2008 was very septic with MRSA and Nocardia.

Wasn't expected to live. received so many IV

antibiotics I'm sure I was herxing to beat the

band. But because of raging infection, docs

continued antibiotics. Needless to say, I lived.

I guess I'm rambling. I was also diagnosed with

Neurosarcoidosis. Odd disease characterized by

long term inflammation. Kinda sounds like some

of my Lyme symptoms. Was started on

steroids [tsk] I'm walking fine line. steroids

for sarcoidosis but definite no-no for lyme.

Luckily my LLMD and neurologist watch like a

hawk. Had been off antibiotics since 2008. But,

always a but, started feeling my old symptoms.

I have been back on 3 antibiotics

(ceftin,tindamax,zithro)since 10/2011. i feel

lucky i lasted that long off meds. It's easy to

give up hope. I am finally getting better

physically. [woohoo] Brain involvement will prob never

get better. Am able to hang out with

grandkids,family,friends.To make short story

long, keep smiling and keep trying. When I was

so seriously ill, this site was my salvation.

Thank you for all the support

Thanks for reply. Am glad to see so many familiar names. Brain fog still around. Can't read or even b on computer without getting nauseated. But today I decided I had to persevere and add a post.
