So I've been on Doxy for almost 2 years...my doc and I have decided on taking a break...I have felt pretty good lately, but I'm kinda nervous to be off the meds...any suggestions on herbs and stuff to take for now?...I currently do Oil of Oregano, Grapefruit seed extract, Wormwood complex, Fish Oil, and Milk Thistle...and I woke up this morning with a killer sore throat (I gotta believe it's a coincidenc, I hope)

Have you been on any cyst busters like Flagyl or Tindamax? It's been widely reported that Doxy has a strong tendency to turn Borrelia into cyst forms.

Once you go off Doxy the cysts may convert back to spirokeets.

Yes I have heard that, and was hoping that the Grapefruit seed extract would possibly have helped that...but we will see.

I'm sorry, but I have no experience with Grapefruit seed extract. I'm sure someone will join the conversation and clear that up.

My LLMD puts people on Banderol and Samento when they go off abx.
Best to you, hope this is all behind you soon.
