Im reading some shocking similarities between Bart and Brucella. My main symptoms are burning feet, legs and shortness of breath. SOB is a babesia symptom, yet I have no other babs issues. Why the discrepancy? After seeing this article, I'm curious how many of us "Bart" sufferers are chasing the wrong, yet similar, organism.

If I am reading this correctly... and it is past the witching hour so I may not be....
5,726 blood samples from kids, all under the age of 14, were studied for Brucella. All cases of Brucella were described as acute- less than two months duration.
Only one child reported burning feet as a symptom, and that one child had no other symptoms- unusual in itself.
Approximately 40% of the kids were shepherds and 60% reported being in CLOSE contact with animals, and drinking raw goat milk.
Could it be the ONE child reporting burning feet was also exposed to Bartonella or other infectious diseases at some point?
It appears the researchers didn't check for any other diseases.

This sounds like neuropathy, or nerve pain. Do you take B vitamins? Have you tried sublingual B12?

It wasn't neuropathy or nerve pain for me (although it felt like it). After going on bart meds, the pain got worse, then better, to almost gone (still have bart). I was fortunate to have an LLMD who recognized it (many miss it).
