I'm sure this has been asked dozens of times, and that everyone's different, but I'm just curious - how long have people's herx reactions lasted?

I started IV Rocephin last Thursday, and starting yesterday - holy smokes! I have never experienced a reaction like this. My joints are awful, it looks like a nightly low-grade fever is becoming a pattern and the headache continues, etc.

I'm very hopeful that all this is a good sign!

I have had some herx reactions last a day or two; I have also experienced herxes that lasted for essentially the entire duration of a round of antibiotics (given a month at a time, approximately).

I have herxed for weeks on end; not fun, but always felt better after! Good luck!

I have been on herx for months non stop and I knew I was herxing but I was fighting for my life both times 2 1/2 years than from the car accident again when in treatment for babesia .I had it for very long. You need to treat long enough and with very strong combo each infection .

It depends on how long you have had it and how many more infections you have , parasites, chemicals and metals , detox issues etc.

Try to detox and clean your gut.Take probiotics for sure .

As long as I am taking antibiotics, pharmaceuticals or herbal, I am herxing. Detox should help. Good luck.
