I know this info is out there somewhere but I am Herxing and searching is too much. I just started doxy and rifampin combo. I am having problems trying to figure out how to get in my supplements etc since they cannot be close to doxy etc. how far away from abx do I have to space probiotics?

You should at least have 1-2 hrs between abx and probiotics. Rifampin on empty stomach, Doxy with food..

So for example
6 or 7 am - Probiotics
8am - Rifampin
9am - Food w doxy
11am - Magnesium and other supps not requiring food.
1pm Lunch and supps
3pm - Probiotics
4pm - Rifampin
5/6pm - Dinner with Doxy
8pm - Magnesium and other supps not requiring food.

9/10pm - Probiotics and sleepytime

I had great success with doxy/rifampin. My pharmacist said to take them both with food. She also said to take all abx with food, regardless of what the manufacturers suggestion is.

I took my probiotic at lunch and bedtime.

Supplements after lunch and also at my 4:00 snack time.

My LLMD said that in a perfect world doxy and rifampin should be taken on an empty stomach. But based on her experience most people can't tolerate the stomach issues from doing that.

She tells all her patients she would rather they take those drugs with food than not be able to tolerate them at all.
