i have been told by llmd that edta is only way to get rid of lead. oral edta seems cheaper than suppositories. do they work as well?

I have heard in general that edta suppositories work better than oral. Nothing specific to lead, but just generally, that gets things more directly into the system. A lot of things can get destroyed by swallowing them as the body then works to digest them (same thing for glutathione).

Oral EDTA is not absorbed well from the gut. I think its only about 5%. Rectal absorption is better, than oral because it is absorbed straight into the blood through the mucosa. IV is much better. 10 Detoxamin supps is about the same dose as 1 IV.
