Friend had a tick in her ear which was easily removed. Not sure if it is a wood tick or deer tick. should she go on abx?

Seriously? You've been registered on this website a while now, so I imagine you've seen/read a lot?
Tell your friend to log onto this website. After reading a while, maybe she will come to the conclusion that abx (especially right after a tick bite) are the way to go.
