I have a new and very disturbing symptom. Terrible ear pressure. It feels like my ears are covered yet extremely sensitive to sounds , especially loud sounds. The pressure/full feeling extends into my head as well.

I also have intermittent ringing in the ears. This started on and off for the past month. Now it is all the time. Given the long period of time that I am not bring treated for Lyme, could this be a new symptom or something else?

Has anyone had this with Lyme?

Oh no. I just read that ativan can cause problems with the ears. I have been taking it every night (.5 mg) for about 6 months.

Yep, benzo's can cause ear pains, aches, pressure...you name it..they screw with some people's ears.

i was taking the trade off for a while before it became unbearable...i definitely understand the need for a valium or ativan but i think the less, the better.
