Has anyone heard of this relatively new testing out there? So my adult son was having some neurological issues, so I took him to the Amen Clinic in Reston, VA to have a SPECT scan done in January. As part of the evaluation we had some blood tests done to test for Lyme Disease. So they ran the standard Western Blot test. But they also ran these other 2 tests. The ITT and the Cytokine. Well, the Western Blot came back Negative, but the ITT and Cytokine came back Positive. Turns out the tests were developed in Nov 2010, through a grant from Health and Human Services / National Institutes of Health (https://www.neurorelief.com/index.php?p=cms&cid=198&pid=0)
But when we finally got in to see our LLMD, he hadn't heard of the tests.
