Please, I have read all of the warnings. I cannot take Bactrim Ds (allergy) and Rifampin jacked up my liver enzymes. I am NOT looking for horror stories. I have searched and read ALL of them. I would like help on:
Insomnia - Was it an issue for you on Levaquin? What time of the day did you take it? What helped your insomnia?
Progress - What symptoms did you get rid of with Levaquin ?
Duration - How long were you on it ?
Flairs - Describe your herx.
I am on it with Bicillin, plaquenil and malerone.

I loved levaquin. I didn't have any problems sleeping. I took it during the day. Levaquin hit a lot of bart symptoms and Lyme. I just felt better! I took it for 6 months. No real herx.

Hi Flutterby... I too took it for 6-7 months at first I herxed a lot but it was a GAME changer for me. Towards the end of my time on it, I was feeling slight tendon issues and with lcarnatine, those went away. It was WELL worth it.
I took it in the morning. No real problem. Definitely I notice d a great decline in foot pain and neuropathy. I too was on bicillin, et al. Dr. H protocol. I am doing the best I have been in three years almost four years...

If you haven't looked already, I found a lot of levaquin stories using the search feature.
I didn't make any real progress with it but looking back I should have mixed it with other bart drugs.
