The Core supplement is made specifically for those who have KPU. It is very powerful due to the mix of ingredients and the relatively high doses of elemental zinc.

Thorne Basic Nutrient IV looks like a good product for those who have specific methylation issues but would not cover the needs of those with KPU.

I tried to go with other zinc products and ended up with zinc toxicity because the product was defective and had way too much zinc. Set me back at least a year and caused no end of difficulty and suffering not to mention money to fix the problems created by too much zinc.

I don't have any relationship with biopure but I trust their products to be free from major manufacturing defects and to have the appropriate mix of ingredients to treat KPU.

Hey, TerryK. My new doctor recently put me on the core supplement but didn't really tell me much. You seem to know a bit. Can you tell me more about it?

Sorry to be so general. This doc isn't great at communicating.

Scott is a trustworthy source and he explains it very well

Your doctor may have thought you fit the profile or perhaps he is just checking to see if you get some benefit from it.
