So...many of you saw my post from mid April celebrating the fact that I felt the best in those 3 weeks than I have since getting sick. A light at the end of the tunnel!

Well, about a week ago something happened. I started to get all Refluxy...a flare in my GERD symptoms came. Constantly clearning my throat, heartburn, etc.

Then came dizziness and a wooziness that I haven't had since the very beginning. Then flushing and fogginess.

Looking back, these were my very first symptoms before I crashed with Lyme and co.

I'm wondering why they are back now? Why would I get a resurgance of GERD when I was doing so well. Is it med related? Is it a Bart herx?

Whatever it is, it is annoying. I'm better now but still not where I was. Boo!

Bite date ?

5/10 dx'd, after 3 months numerous test and doctors

IgM Igenex +/CDC +

Currently at around 95% +/- most days.

Sorry to hear this. I think it's bart. I had the same thing happen to me when I got bit a few years ago. Instant massive GERD. I suspect h ypolori is related to bart.

Maybe a bart herx or bit again?

I don't have any answers but wanted to say don't feel bad I'm in the same boat. Been rifing for a little over a year after going off abx.

My gi issues had been gone for almost two years and came back two weeks ago. I'v@e never tested positive or treated directly for Bart though.only abx I used were minor,Roxy and biaxin. Hopefully its just a flare for us and not a backsliding.

This sounds like what is happening to me right now. I do not know what is going on but Im wondering if its YEAST! Since being on Diflucan I feel awful: Flushing, toxic nasty taste in mouth, problems sleeping, hot and sweaty, reflux, sinus issues ect... I wondered if it was Bart but I did not herx like that on Bart meds and if its bart then why did Diflucan make mine worse. So many unknowns but just throwing in my 2 cents.
