It's a 3% standardized extract (15:1) Concentrate.
It says that one capsule is 334 mg. But then it says is equivalent to 5,000 mg.

That's a bit misleading and confusing. Regular dosage is take 1-2 daily, but with this possible infection coming on, I thought 3 times a day would work. Anyone have experience with this herbal?

I just feel like I'm getting a cold or slight bronchial infection, that's all. I don't want to go to the doctor, no insurance.

Likely the 334 mg. of an EXTRACT or CONCENTRATE is equivalent to 5,000 mg. of the RAW herb.

Start with just ONE. It can have varying effects on different people. If you do well with that, increase to two. I'm not so sure about 3, at least not until you are well into tolerating two.

I'm also not so sure this would be the only thing I would do with a new onset (other) acute infection.

Do you have Lomatium tincture? LDM-100 is the best I've found of that.

Allicin capsules, too?

As a frame of reference: Have you read Buhner's book, "Healing Lyme"?

I'll check into the Lomatium tincture..never heard of it. Allicin capsules? New to me. Good suggestion. Haven't read Healing Lyme yet.

I'm getting a bacterial 'bug' that's been going around, a little congestion, feeling bad....but not debilitated. Same thing everyone else has had.

I took 2 of the capsules yesterday, and one today so far. I feel bad, but am still going to work today. NO fever, just sick feeling. You know the deal.

Look up Allimax at iHerb.com.

Cat's claw will stimulate the white blood cells to phage bacteria in the blood, so you might herx from it.

Oh....okay. It says it's made from raw garlic. Maybe they have it at the health food store here. Thanks for this information. I'd much rather do this than go for a traditional antibiotic, for sure!

For a cold, you might want to look into elderberry extract.
It's antiviral.

Sambucol was one of the first brands of it, and you can find reviews at iHerb.com.
I bought several bottles so that I'd have some on hand in case I came down with influenza.

I didn't catch the flu, but twice in the last three years I began to catch a cold, and I was impressed with the elderberry extract.
I'm amazed at how quickly it works!
