My husband is finally able to take full strength Rocephan after uphill battles. His energy level is starting to go back down in the past couple of weeks. LLMD's office says possible herx. Take glute and alkaseltzer gold. You don't usually herx for a couple of weeks do you? Hes also lost the use of toes on left foot due to neuropathy. Normally when he goes to bed at night, the foot is ice cold. The past 2 nights, its been warm as toast. Weird. Appointment on Tuesday.

Yup - interesting how? Today I've actually had a remarkably good day for once. I'm hoping its the start of a new trend.
I just looked back at my symptom calendar - 5 days in is when I started getting the daily low-grade fevers, sore lymphs, all-over joint aches, headache, stiff neck, etc. That started to ease up after about 4 days, but didn't get back to where I was before starting.
Two weeks in, I got an extremely sore throat and very painful knees (and knees are actually one of the few joints that hadn't been too bad thus far).
I guess I had about a week and a half break from the fevers in there too, but they have returned and lasted a little over a week now. The last couple of days also, the headaches and neck stiffness have been much worse. That improved today though.
So I guess not the same kind of flared up as I was at the beginning - I'm curious what folks make of this.
Oh, and I also started Malerone last Thursday too.
