I just am finally with a real LLMD. I bit the bullet and decided to stop wasting time with mediocre treatment. You need to address so many things. Hormones, metals, coinfectins, liver support. There is no cookie cutter approach.
You must see a doc who leaves no stone unturned. You must be on a protocol that is tailor made for you. What helped me most is trial, error and patience.
I give all the glory to GOD!

At my recent LLND appt I told her I wanted a Dr. H protocol. He's got several on Bicillin and 3-4 orals.
She said she'd never heard of such a thing. (Her mentors are Dr. S in CA and CRJ in CT.)
But I got my wish!
I am also doing the treatment happy dance and SO HAPPY for you! You were one of my inspirations for my new protocol.

I am cautiously optimistic for myself. I have more energy, only occasional twinges of pain and my mind is clearer.
I am on the low fat vegan diet, taking supplements for methyl cycle mutations and just started LDN last week. I was off all drugs for about ten days and except for insomnia, had no symptoms.
Before that I did two weeks of ivermectin and minocycline followed by chloroquine which stopped all the babesia symtpoms but the pain. The 4 days of cholorquine really set off insomnia though, probably hyperthyroid. When I quit the minocycline the stabbing pain went away and I was close to normal except for the sleeping disturbance.`
I just started 3 days of stromectol (ivermectin) this morning. I really hope I can stay here without having to go back on the nuclear arsenal of drugs. I also take crytolepsis, sida acuta, samento and whatever else is on hand, twice a day or when I think about it. Lumbrokinase/boluki twice a day for the hypercoagulation.
I went to a seminar over the week end on LLLT. I have a PE1 and maybe that helps but I am planning to see a doctor that has one of the more expensive higher powered units. I feel like I am cresting the hill and I sure hope I don't hit another slide before I make it over the top.

ffluterby - that is OUTSTANDING news!!! I am really happy for you!
I am so glad you "bit the bullet" to go to a REAL LLMD! My Mom was on a merry-go-round with neuro after neuro for 15 years before I found one who KNEW what the deal was!
Now we are waiting in line to see the LLMD.
BTW, would you mind PMing me to tell me who your LLMD is? I have a girlfriend with a sister here in Jersey who has it bad - and some numbnuts told her that her POSITIVE ELISA was a HOAX! She's now riding the merry-go-round of arthritis specialists and all that related hocus pocus.
I'd love to be able to give her a recommendation for a doc who will HELP her!
Again - Congratulations! & God Bless!!
