Anyone have experience with kids and probiotics? Have a friend whose 5-6 year old is having IBS/D problems. Just wondering. If so, how much should they take?

They even can give probiotics for infants (for colic).
Follow whatever the bottle directions says.
For infants, here are 2 suggestions:
FloraBABY by Renew Life Powder of five strains of baby-loving bacteria (including B. infantis, of course), delivering 4 billion busy bugs (CFUs or Colony Forming Units to put it more technically) per gram
Babys Jarro-Dophilus + FOS by Jarrow Formulas
For Children here are a few choices:
Flora Udo's Choice Children's Probiotic
Garden of Life RAW Organic Probiotic Kids
The above were rated 5-star by customers on Amazon
But look at "Proposed treatment" in the above link.

We use Children's Theralac as well. You can mix it with juice or applesauce. If that doesn't do it, ask about a prescription for VSL#3.
