I relly do believe this is Bart.

I was at the Dr today for a follow up for my feet and I ask for more blood work.

I did ask for a Bart test and babeosis.

My Dr. said bart is a cat claws disease and wont draw blood for that .

Then the other tick /co infections like Bart and Babs they said a maleria related not tick related.

They said if I had it I would be dead.
So I have a pharmacy in another country I order from.

If this is Bart and I do believe with every ounce of my being that it is then what antibiotic combo should I order.
Then how much to take. You can PM that info.
If it is Babs what would you order.

This is a overseas pharmacy so it will take me a good 2 weeks to get it.

Any help is great.
Thank you all for your continued support.

Are you able to get to an LLMD? He/she should know more about you possibly having Bart and Babs and prescribe for you.

From everything I am learning, Levaquin, Rifampin, Bactrim are some of the drugs used to treat Bart.

Mepron, Malerone for Babs. If I am wrong somebody correct me here. I can't tell you what the dosages would be on these things.

And Catina, please dont go on my statement, please talk to an LLMD about this.

Bart is not a 'cat claws' disease. Bart needs the cipro class drug (ciprofloxicin, levaquin, factive) or rifampin. The cipro family can have devastating side effects, but most people tolerate it well. Rifampin is effective for a while, but does not play well with others.

Many people have all three B's (Borrellia, Bart, Babesia) without dying. Me, for one. Many get better. I'm better, if not yet well.

As for meds and doses, read Burrascano's guide, you'll find what you need there.

"Cat's claws disease" = the doc is saying that is how one gets Bartonella. He doesn't have a clue.

Suggestion: don't walk, RUN to the the seeking a doctor forum here and get recommendations for a reputable ILADS-trained Lyme Literate doctor!

It isn't a matter of just taking meds. When you are on these meds, there are blood tests that have to be done on a regular basis to be sure your liver, etc. is able to handle the meds.

That's why self-treating is the very, very last resort.

You could actually damage yourself irreparably. So, please get to a good lyme doc and get treatment that way.

There are good Lyme docs in your general area. This guy doesn't know a thing! And he'll harm you with his ignorance. Get a real LLMD pronto.

Was wondering if anyone here has tried this herb for Bart with any success?

It is mentioned as the only thing to take for it in Stephen Buhner's book. But I have not talked to anyone yet who has tried it. ( Although Jessie Joy is the first who I have seen mention it here. )

For some reason I cannot get anything to come up in the Site Search database.
