I treat my viruses with a Canadian anti viral called Imunovir. It requires a doctors prescription and the drug company is Rivex pharmacy.

Takuna is a herbal that is used to treat it also. So far I have not noticed any herxing from either. I assume Im not herxing from the viruses.

There was a study done in about 2006 by Drs at Stanford. The results were that Valcyte works better than Valtrax on HHV6.

I have high titers of HHV6, but chickened out when doc gave me Valcyte. Side effects scared the heck out of me.

I hope to keep reading good suggestions here.

Jamers, have you noticed any improvement in titers/symptoms from the Imunovir or Takuna?

Manybites, I have the same question for you re: nosodes and Bionic.

Debilyn, FWIW I think you made the right decision. Several years back so many had high hopes for Valcyte. Unfortunately, it wasn't the miracle cure for many, if not most. That's probably why we don't hear much about it these days. Just seems like we're left with more questions than answers, as usual.

Thanks Karen for asking this question.
