Does anyone lose have stubborn belly fat and love handles? I'm wondering if this is related to Lyme or not. I also have pcos, and am on birth control pills. I don't know if it's from that or lyme, or something else. I might be hypothyroid, so I guess it could be that. I just want to know how to get rid of it. I'm 5"3 and 116 lbs yet my belly has this later of fat that won't go away!

Mine was belly & hip fat. Lost it all when I went on a non-gluten diet.
Big surprise, as I wasn't doing it to lose weight. And I wasn't that much over weight.
I am 5'7"..went from a size 12 to a size 6 now.
I did lose 25 pounds. I do have to add that it did NOT help the Lyme problem at all.

Hummm... I have always been on the lean side. 5'7" and 127 when re-starting lyme and co. treatment four months ago.
I too felt like my entire weight was in my gut.
After about one month into this lyme/co. treatment I lost close to 10 lbs. and my stomach looks and feels soo different.
Not that I needed to lose weight but I was 117 lbs. BEFORE I got sick and I am back to that again
I am thinking Babs for some reason. When I started on the Mepron things began changing in my belly...
It could be the lyme/ anti-yeast diet but I have been on that through all of my prior treatments and never lost any weight. It came off with Babs tx.
Are you treating for parasites and yeast?

Katrina I am right there with you. Alot of my problem I know for me is lack of exercise. My painful nerves and muscles make exercise difficult. I could definitely see how going totally gluten free you could lose weight as it seems as though everything has gluten, lol. Seren Weed, what does a typical days meals look like for you?
