Hi all,

I'm starting artemisia today for babs, two capsules 3x daily. in addition to malarone.

I've never been on it. LLMD told me to take a break from crypto that I may have plateued on crypto.

Is artemisia hard on the stomach?

What side affects should I look out for? And if yes, how do I deal with that?

Did you find it helpful for babs? I need feedback on this.

No problems here from artemisia. Malarone was a different matter, however...

thank you guys!

have you had a Lyme or babs herx with artmesia?

I kinda feel 'herxy', but its just the first day. And it feels more like my lyme sx flaring.

Is this typical?

Yes, definitely herx with artemesia. I would start slowly and ramp up.
Your dose seems huge. What brand are you taking?
We take Zhang's and it is just 1 capsule 3 times a day.

If you get ear pain from the Art-2, drop your dose.

I forgot to ask if art can be taken at the same time as abx meds?

I know I should have asked my LLMD, but its too late to ask now.

Can someone help me out with this?

Oh, I'm taking the Zhang protocol art.

I'm taking this dose for one month, and next month down to 1 capsule 3x daily. That's what the nurse told me today.

BTW, Manybites, I don't get what you mean about starting with a 0 capsule and after empty 0 capsule.

Can you please explain? I feel real foggy now, so please try to make it understandable.

I appreciate everything

Artemisia can be taken with all the usual TBI abx.

I'm taking it (6 capsules/day) with mepron, minocycline, biaxin, cipro, and diflucan. I won't say there aren't any problems - the insomnia is pretty bad - but they're not from meds<->artemisia interactions.

you are so helpful!

Thank you manybites. I did feel some ringing in my ears tonight after I took it.

And I'm glad that I can take it together with other meds, as spacing that apart has become impossible already.

I'm on bicillin LA IM, doxy, malarone, nyastatin, and more. I might be adding in Septra if my stomach holds up.

So many supplements and meds that need to be spaced apart, that I couldn't handle that anymore.

I do Dr. Zhang's and do 3/day. Should I try for more? I pulse it every month. I am also wondering if I should try to art-2?

Im still unsure if I can take art together with my monodox abx, (its a doxy), because I've been told not to take vitamins two hours before or after.

As for my gut, I was quite nauseaus yesteday, and my gut rumbling, which I think is more from art than the monodox abx.

I'd been taking monodox for two weeks before I started this artemsia capsules.
