can anyone tell me if the Humaworm products are good medical grade supplements? I have heard so many bad things about some companies I ussually try to stick with Pure or Metegenics.
I like the idea of all the herbs for yeast and parasites as well as cleansing but I do not want to throw money away??

- IF you are asking if Humaworm is a top quality supplement, yes, absolutely.
FDA approval is not on ANY nutrient supplements. It does not work that way.
I do not want the FDA to regulate supplements as they know nearly nothing about them. Most MDs do not, either.
Of course, if there is a matter of gross negligence or criminal fraud, that is another issue altogether. And there are a lot of crappy products on the market but FDA regulation will not help, IMO, and only hurt those who want to be able to get good quality supplements.
It's up to us to do our homework. Find out what the herbalist professional organizations recommend, etc.
It's best to consult with an ILADS-educated LL (lyme literate) doctor who has completed four years of post-graduate medical education in the field of herbal and nutritional medicine -
- and someone who is current with ILADS' research & presentations, past and present.
Integrative / Holistic M.D., etc. (Be aware that those in this category can have various levels of formal herbal &/or nutritional education, perhaps even just a short course. Do ask first.)
Links to many articles and books by holistic-minded LL doctors of various degrees who all have this basic approach in common:
Understanding of the importance of addressing the infection(s) fully head-on with specific measures from all corners of medicine;
knowing which supplements have direct impact, which are only support and which are both.
You can compare and contrast many approaches.
