Hi - my daughter, 21 years of age, was seeing a llmd and was placed on layers of antibiotics for 5 months. She felt much better on them. Recently she went to europe and got off them for 3 weeks. Now all the joints in her legs are acting up plus she developed muscle pain. She is back on antibiotics and will stay on them. Is there any treatments you commend for joint and muscle pain in the legs until the antibiotics start to work.

Thanks so much

Buhner recommends Nettle leaf 1200mg/day for joint pain. I take it daily and have really good results. I've resorted to getting the bulk powder (cheaper than getting capsules); a daily dose (I use a measuring spoon) keeps my joint pain under good control.

For muscle cramps, magnesium is very helpful.

Homeopathic Causticum also helps me with wandering joint pain.

Homeopathic Cuprum Met. helps me with muscle cramping when I haven't been able to take magnesium.

I take NOW brand curcumin... it's not expensive at all and works well.

Also.. mangosteen, black cherry extract, Rutozyme... things like that are also helpful.

Definitely get some magnesium! [Smile]
