I have one eye bigger just like her. I've scoured the web and can't find what causes her condition which I would like to know b/c this is how my eyes look. Does anyone know what causes her eyes to be uneven? Maybe it would give me some insight as to what causes my eyes to be uneven. My eyes were even before getting sick.

If you mean that one pupil is more dilated than the other, that is common with lyme disease.
It can be continous or just happen in episodes.

I am hypothyroid but I'm being treated for it. It started with the pupil being more dilated but now the whole eye looks bigger, almost like it's bulging a bit. It's like that all the time now but sometimes it's worse than others.

HYPERthyroidism causes bulging eyes. Think: Marty Feldman of Young Frankenstein fame.
Maybe your hypo medication is working?

Found this link about her eye. It does not seem to be the same thing that I have b/c the white doesn't show at the bottom for me.

With all due respect to the above posters, certainly if Michelle Obama, our First Lady, had anything wrong with her or her eyes, she and her medical team would surely know about it and would be acting upon it.
Please stop speculating about famous people and their health status. This does not help any of us.

I meant no disrespect to the first lady. I've just noticed for awhile now that she has one eye larger just like me and I'm trying to figure out what's wrong with my eye.

Asymmetries of the face, including eyes and other features, are fairly common and could be caused by a variety of things.
In the case of one eye appearing larger than the other, the cause is usually either genetic or from trauma to the face and head--in cases of being caused by trauma, often dates back to a result of a difficult childbirth in which forceps are used to facilitate delivery, or uneven pressure was exerted in the birth canal to one side of the head for an extended period of time.
One eye may be set deeper than the other, there may be some asymmetry in facial bone structure, or asymmetry in the strength or use of eye and facial muscles.
Hyperthyroidism should not affect only one eye, so is probably not the cause. If the problem is new, you should have it checked by your doctor to determine the cause.

This started 5 years ago when I started to get very sick. My eyes were symmetrical before that.
Read this can be evolving aneurysm. God I hope that's not the case!
Every doctor I've consulted about it has been very vague. I'm going to start demanding answers from doctors about this b/c it really bothers me.

Kind of, but I can move both sides of my face. So can Mrs. O.
I wish there was a neuro-ophthalmalogist near me but there isn't. I hate to drive into the city just to get the run-around as has happened many times before.
I went to one eye doc when this first happened 5 yrs. ago and the tech that came in before the doc was totally freaked out.
He came in and dismissed me within 5 min. Wouldn't even talk to me. I had to pry info out of him and was finally able to get him to tell me it was neurological but that he couldn't (or rather wouldn't) help me.
Same type of thing happened to me with 2 ENT's. I haven't been able to breathe out of my rt. nostril in years and my rt. ear also crackles but they say nothing is wrong. Interestingly that is the same side as the eye issue and my brain lesions and I feel they could be related but I'm sick of being dismissed by doctors.

It mentions people with clotting issues are more at risk. I just found out I have MTHFR. Homozygous C677T which increases risk of clots.

I have heard a llmd talk about with lyme and company, we will have a tell tale sign of one eye drooping more than the other. She (llmd)spoke of this at a meeting I went to in Phoenix. She said it was one of her first clues to disease.
It's not that one eye is bigger, it's that one eye is closed more. I have this.
But with that said, I think we all have this, whether we have lyme or not.

Went to eye doctor today. She said go to a neurologist.
Gave me prescription for glasses although she said I didn't really need them.

Funny you got a script for glasses, but was told you don't need them!
I can feel my left eye swell up -- it waxes and wanes.. It is painful. Usually my ear and upper molars on that side hurt as well when it happens.
I was "told" I had Graves' Disease when they ablated my thyroid - but have never had bulging eyes.....
I recently asked my LLMD about my eye swelling -- she said it was probably lyme or Bart (she also added 2 places they autopsy for lyme, are the eyeballs and bladder!)

Don't even get me going. I was at the eye doctor for almost 4 hrs! I saw 2 doctors, 2 assistants, was made to wait in 2 different waiting areas. Their waiting room has at least 20 people waiting at all times.
After they checked my eyes, it was very obvious to me that my vision was not as good in my rt. eye yet no one mentioned the possibility of glasses. As the doctor was about to dismiss me I asked if I could benefit from glasses b/c the vision is not as good in that eye.
She said she could have the other doctor run one more test to see which revealed I could "possibly" benefit from glasses and he wrote me a prescription for them.
Why do I have to ask for EVERYTHING?!!!

I don't know if the glasses will help or not but they said it was worth a try.
I'll get a cheap pair to see if they make a difference.
I'm apprehensive to see a neurologist. I'm worried that they will try to pin an MS dx on me.
