Have you tried your omeprazole? I take it first thing in the am prior to my abx and it has helped me tremendously.

Prilosec and Slippery Elm Bark (an herb) have helped me tremendously.
However, burning is not a good sign. Is there any chance your LLMD can switch meds?
When I swapped my Doxy for Omnicef, I actually quit the prilosec :-) Of course Omni is a lot more expensive...
